The range covers the DR90 whole home dehumidification system and the 4th generation DHM065, DHM090 and DHM120 units rated at 65, 90 and 120 pints per day, along with replacement filters and the display controller.

A whole-house dehumidifier works with the home's air system rather than sitting in one room. It is usually ducted into the return, or set up as a standalone unit in a basement or crawl space, and runs from its own humidistat or control. Keeping indoor relative humidity between about 40 and 50 percent limits mold, musty odors and condensation on ducts and windows, and it lets the air conditioner run warmer thermostat settings without the house feeling clammy.

Size the unit by pints per day for the conditioned volume and the moisture load. Basements, crawl spaces and tight new construction often need more than the floor area alone suggests. Replacing the failed part is what keeps a unit that is otherwise sound out of the landfill.

Check the model number on the unit label before ordering. Resideo humidifier platforms share a family name but not always a part, and a board or solenoid from the neighbouring model will not drop in.

Two failures account for most humidifier service calls. A solenoid that will not open leaves the pad dry and the house at whatever humidity the weather gives it; a solenoid that will not close runs water through the unit and down the drain all season, which shows up on the water bill long before anyone notices the humidity is high.

Hard water shortens the life of every wetted part in a humidifier. Where the supply is hard, an in-line scale filter and a fresh pad each season do more for the unit than any other maintenance.

Brand: Resideo (Honeywell Home)

Manufacturer Part #: 50049537-005/U

Fits: DR65

UPC: 085267262965

Category: Humidifier Parts

Full Specifications

MERV Rating

MERV 11

For Use With

DR65 Dehumidifier

Filter Quantity

1

Product Width

0.75 in

Product Length

11.38 in

Product Height

8.94 in

Product Weight

0.1 lb

Documents &
