Ball valves with press ends, so the valve goes into the line the same way the fittings do — no solder, no thread, no draining the system dry.
Sizes 1/2" through 4", in brass, lead-free brass and bronze, with press x press, press and press x hose connections. Pressure ratings run 200 and 250 WOG depending on body and size.
Two things to check before ordering. The press profile must match your jaws, exactly as it does on the fittings. And on potable water, the body must be lead-free — NSF/ANSI 372 compliance is a marking on the valve, not an assumption you can make from the alloy name.
Full-port versus standard-port matters on a supply line: standard port restricts flow at the valve, which is fine on isolation duty and costly on a main.
