Apron-Front & Farmhouse Sinks

Apron-front and farmhouse kitchen sinks from American Standard, Blanco, DXV, Moen, Rohl and Shaws. The collection includes fireclay sinks such as Rohl Allia 32" and Shaws Shaker 30" and Lancaster 33" and 36", the Blanco Cerana 33" in white, the DXV Hillside 30", an American Standard vitreous china country kitchen sink, and a Moen 30" stainless steel farmhouse sink.

Apron sinks usually need a modified sink base cabinet and support for the sink weight, especially fireclay. Check the exact dimensions, drain location and whether the model is undermount or flush with the counter. Faucet holes, if any, affect the choice of faucet.

Frequently asked questions

Do farmhouse sinks need a special cabinet?

Usually yes. An apron-front sink needs a sink base cabinet with a cut-down front and added support for the sink weight, especially for fireclay.

Fireclay or stainless steel?

Fireclay is heavy, glazed and resists scratches; stainless steel is lighter and easier to install. Both are stocked here.

Will my faucet work with a farmhouse sink?

Most farmhouse sinks have no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop behind the sink. See pull-down kitchen faucets.
