Dehumidifiers & Humidifiers

Whole-house humidifiers, dehumidifiers, steam humidifiers and the humidifier replacement parts that keep them running, all from Honeywell Home (Resideo).

The three humidifier types differ in how they get water into the air. Bypass units, such as the TrueEASE HE100, HE150, HE200 and HE250, use furnace airflow across an evaporator pad and need a bypass duct. Fan-powered units like the HE300 and HE365 carry their own blower and need no bypass. Steam units such as the HM750 electrode humidifier boil water and add moisture whether or not the furnace is running; parts for the HM700, HM750 and TrueSTEAM are stocked.

The evaporator pad is a consumable. It scales up with minerals and stops absorbing, which shows up as a humidifier that runs but delivers nothing; annual replacement is normal maintenance. Most of this collection is OEM parts listed by the models they fit: HC22 and HC26 pads, solenoid valves, circuit boards, distribution trays, electrode cylinders and dehumidifier filters for the DR65, DR90 and DR120. Match the part to the model number on the unit's label.

Control placement decides whether the system behaves: a wall control such as the HumidiPRO H6062 reads the living space, which is what the occupant actually feels.
