Tub-shower modules combine the bathtub and the surround in one unit, for a standard 60 in. alcove. Widths run 30, 31, 32 and 34 in.
One-piece or four-piece follows the same rule as showers. The one-piece models (TSEA, TSEA Plus, TSTEA, TSTEA Plus) are a single molded shell with no seams above the tub deck — the right choice when the walls are still open. The four-piece KDTS ships as a tub plus wall panels and goes in through a finished doorway, which is what a replacement job needs.
AFR means Above-the-Floor Rough: a raised base that lets the drain be plumbed above the slab. It is the model to specify on a concrete floor or where moving the waste line is not practical.
Left-hand or right-hand drain is set by the factory and describes the end the drain sits at as you face the alcove. Getting it backwards means moving the waste line, so confirm it against the rough-in before ordering.
