Stainless steel press fittings in 304 and 316, for service where copper and carbon steel will not hold up: corrosive media, food and beverage, high-purity process lines and marine work.
Sizes 1/2" through 2", press connections throughout, with male adapters, female adapters and tees making up most of the range.
316 is the grade to specify where chlorides are present — the added molybdenum is what buys pitting resistance over 304. Match the fitting grade to the pipe grade; mixing 304 fittings onto a 316 system reintroduces the weak point you were paying to eliminate.
Stainless presses at higher force than copper. Above roughly 2", and on heavier wall, fixed jaws give way to rings driven by an actuator, so confirm your tool is rated for the size and material before you order.
