Press Fittings - ACR

ACR press fittings for refrigerant lines, joining ACR copper tube to ASTM B280 without brazing. No nitrogen purge, no torch, no hot-work permit — on a rooftop or an occupied space, that is the difference between a two-hour job and a one-day job.

Sizes 1/4" through 1-3/8", in press x press, press and press x fitting. Configurations include reducing couplings, fitting reducers, and 45° and 90° elbows.

Refrigerant service means an HNBR seal, not the EPDM used on water press — EPDM degrades in the oil carried by refrigerant. Confirm the fitting is marked for ACR before it goes on the line, and check that the fitting's rating covers the operating pressure of the refrigerant you are running.

ACR tube is sized by actual OD, not by nominal copper tube size, so a 3/8" ACR fitting and a 3/8" CTS fitting are not the same part.
