Tubing: flaring tools, hydraulic tube expanders to 1-1/8 in OD, deburring tools and a digital torque wrench for flare nuts. Evacuation: vacuum pumps, including the cordless NP4DLM and the 7 CFM two-stage NP7DP2 rated for A2L refrigerants, with a micron gauge to confirm the vacuum. Charging and recovery: wireless refrigerant scale, charging hoses, leak detector and recovery units, including a model for flammable (A2L) refrigerants.
A2L refrigerants such as R-454B and R-32 need tools rated for them. Check the rating before using an older pump or recovery machine.
