Mechanical press fittings for black and galvanized steel pipe, pressed onto the pipe with a jaw tool and sealed on an EPDM O-ring. No threading, no cutting oil, no rotating the pipe — the joint is complete in seconds, which is the whole argument for press on a live building or in a tight mechanical room.
Sizes 1/2" through 2", in carbon steel with a zinc-nickel coating, plus brass where the fitting transitions to thread. Connections stocked include press, press x FTG and press x MIP; configurations run to male adapters, tees, reducing tees and couplings.
These join steel pipe to ASTM A53, and the seal compound sets the service: EPDM here is for water, hydronic and chilled-water lines. It is not a gas fitting — gas requires the HNBR-sealed, separately listed version. Profiles are proprietary, so match the fitting brand to the jaws you own.
