Reciprocating blades are stocked by the job rather than by the box: general purpose, medium metal, thick metal and nail-embedded wood, in 6", 9" and 12". Blade choice matters more than saw power on cast iron and on nail-embedded demolition, where tooth pitch and the carbide grade set how long the blade survives.

Press tool jaws are the item most often ordered incorrectly. Jaws are sized to the fitting profile and the tool ring family, so confirm both the manufacturer system and the tool generation before ordering — the fitting brand determines the jaw, not the pipe.
