Tub drains, waste and overflow assemblies, trim kits and rough-in components for alcove, freestanding and whirlpool tubs.
A tub drain is two connected parts: the waste and overflow assembly behind the tub, which is plumbed at rough-in, and the visible trim that installs from the front afterwards. Trim kits are sold separately for exactly that reason, and the two do not have to come from the same order — but they do have to be compatible, since trip-lever, lift-and-turn, toe-touch and pop-up mechanisms are not interchangeable.
Measure before ordering a trim kit for an existing tub. The overflow plate spacing and the drain thread differ between manufacturers, and a freestanding tub needs a floor-mount or through-floor assembly rather than the standard wall-side overflow.
Finishes stocked include polished chrome, brushed and polished nickel, matte black, oil-rubbed bronze and white or paintable.
Brands include Watco, Mountain Plumbing Products, LSP Products and Dearborn.
