Finish trim is everything visible after the wall closes: handles, escutcheons, spouts, drains, supply lines, trip levers and shower bases. It is ordered separately from the rough-in valve on most manufacturers' systems, which is what lets a builder set the valve early and choose the finish later.
Polished chrome and white are the volume finishes, with brushed nickel, matte black and stainless growing. Materials run stainless steel, vitreous china, brass, plastic, acrylic and AcrylX. Braided stainless supply lines are stocked alongside.
Two ordering notes. Trim kits are specific to the valve body beneath them — a pressure-balance trim will not fit a thermostatic rough-in, and cartridge families change between manufacturer generations. And escutcheon depth matters on retrofit: a shallow escutcheon will not cover the opening left by a deep original.
