Frequently asked questions

Stainless steel or granite Franke sink?

Stainless steel, like the Cube line, is light and resists heat and chips. Granite, like the Maris line, comes in solid colors such as matte black and onyx and is quieter under running water.

What does 18 gauge mean on a Franke sink?

Gauge is the thickness of the steel, and a lower number means thicker steel. An 18-gauge sink is thicker than a 20- or 22-gauge one. See all undermount sinks.

Will Franke grids and cutting boards fit my sink?

Most Franke grids, roller mats and cutting boards are sized for specific sink models, so match the model number. Universal items such as the UV-36RM roller mat sit across the sink edges.
