Rheem water heating: residential gas and electric tanks, gas and electric tankless, commercial electric and gas, point-of-use heaters, heat pump models, plus elements, conversion kits, anode rods and replacement parts.

Rheem's residential range spans atmospheric, direct vent, power direct vent and condensing. That vent classification is the decision that governs a replacement: an atmospheric unit draws combustion air from the room and vents by natural draft, while a direct-vent unit brings air in and exhaust out through a sealed pipe. Swapping between them means new venting, and often new combustion-air provision.

Warranty length is the shorthand for build quality across the line — 3, 6, 8 and 12 year models differ mainly in anode mass and tank lining, not in the burner. A 12-year tank in hard water can still be outlasted by a 6-year tank whose anode gets replaced.

Most residential connections are 3/4" MIP; commercial runs 1-1/2" and 2". Fuel types stocked include natural gas, propane, convertible and electric.
