PEX fittings and manifolds across the four joining standards. F1960 expansion uses a ring that is stretched with the tubing and shrinks back onto the fitting — it works only with PEX-A. F1807 crimp and F2159 use rings compressed over a barbed insert and work with PEX-B and PEX-C. Press fittings use a jaw-compressed sleeve. The standards are not interchangeable: the fitting must match both the tubing grade and the tool.
Material choice is about water chemistry, not strength. Brass fittings are standard, but aggressive or acidic water dezincifies ordinary brass over time; composite (poly) and DZR forged brass avoid it. Both are stocked here in the same sizes.
Manifolds are stocked with 2 to 8 branches on 1", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" trunks, in brass, copper and stainless. Size the trunk to total flow, not to branch count.
Brands include Viega, MR PEX, HeatLink, Legend Valve and Sioux Chief.
