Viega 97545 is a 3/4" x 1" PureFlow Press PEX sweat adapter in brass (Proflow Press x FTG Sweat).

A sweat adapter makes the transition from PEX to copper: the copper end is soldered into the copper line before the PEX end is connected.

Viega PureFlow Press makes a PEX joint with a factory-attached stainless steel sleeve. The three view holes show the tubing is fully inserted, and the press is made with a PureFlow hand tool or power tool. PureFlow Press is approved for hot and cold potable water and, with Viega Barrier PEX, for hydronic heating and cooling.
