Description
Charlotte Pipe PVC-00105-1600 is a 8" PVC DWV fitting female adapter (cleanout adapter less plug), Spigot x FPT (Spigot = spigot (pipe-size end that fits into a hub or socket); FPT = female pipe thread).
A cleanout adapter provides a threaded opening for a cleanout plug on a drain line.
Charlotte PVC DWV fittings are made to ASTM D2665 with drainage patterns to ASTM D3311, and listed to NSF 14. They are for non-pressure sanitary drain, waste and vent, sewer and storm drainage at up to 140°F, joined to Schedule 40 PVC or cellular core pipe with primer and PVC solvent cement. DWV fittings have no pressure rating and do not belong on a water supply line.
