Description
Diablo DCX045040N01F is a 4-1/2" Steel Demon™ Type 29 flap disc in 40 grit, made for grinding and polishing metal with an angle grinder.
A flap disc combines grinding and finishing in one accessory, using overlapping abrasive flaps that wear down gradually. This Type 29 disc has a conical design and a 7/8" arbor, and the 40 grit is classed as ultra coarse, so it suits fast stock removal on materials such as rebar, angle iron, cast iron and steel bar.
Before ordering, confirm your angle grinder accepts a 4-1/2" disc with a 7/8" arbor and that its speed does not exceed the disc's 13,280 RPM maximum. Choose a finer grit if the goal is blending or finishing rather than heavy removal, and wear eye and face protection when grinding.
