Description
Legend Valve 310-389NL is a 2-1/2" x 2" brass reducing coupling with female pipe thread (FIP) connections.
A reducing coupling joins two threaded pipe sizes, here stepping a line down from 2-1/2" to 2". The connections are listed as FIP, so each side of the line needs a matching male thread.
Confirm the thread standard and the pressure and temperature rating on the Legend submittal sheet for your application. Apply thread sealant suited to the service, and avoid over-tightening so the fitting is not cracked.
