Pfister Faucets 0X8-310A is a 0X8 Series Permabalance tub and shower rough-in valve.
A rough-in valve is the valve body that is installed inside the wall before it is finished. It controls the water supply to the tub spout and showerhead, and the trim kit is added afterward to complete the installation.
Trim is sold separately, so confirm that the trim you plan to use is designed for the 0X8 Series valve. Check the pipe connection type and the wall depth for your installation before ordering, and shut off the water supply before any work.
