Description
Pfister Faucets 973-030BG is a 5" shower arm in Brushed Gold.
A shower arm is the pipe that projects from the wall and holds the showerhead, and the flange or escutcheon covers the opening where it meets the wall. Replacing them is a quick way to update the look of a shower or to move the showerhead farther from the wall.
Most shower arms thread into a 1/2-inch fitting in the wall, but check the existing connection before ordering. Match the finish to the showerhead and other trim, since finish names can vary slightly between manufacturers, and use thread sealant tape on the threads when installing.
