Description
Watts 0009489 is a 1" lead free water pressure reducing valve with NPT female inlet and outlet connections.
The manufacturer says it reduces incoming water pressure to protect plumbing systems and reduce water consumption in commercial, industrial and residential applications. It has a lead free cast copper silicon alloy body, a removable stainless steel integral strainer, a thermal expansion bypass and a sealed spring cage for pit installations.
The pressure can be adjusted from 25 to 75 psi with a standard setting of 50 psi, and the valve is suitable for up to 400 psi. The listed temperature range is 33 to 180°F. Check the 1" size against your service line before ordering.
