Description
Arrowhead Brass 485-08LKLF is a self-draining, anti-siphon frost-proof wall hydrant in lead free brass with a loose key handle and an 8 in. hydrant length.
The hydrant has a factory installed self-draining vacuum breaker that helps protect the household water supply from back-pressure and backflow siphonage, and it drains water from the hydrant on shut-off when a hose or other device is removed. The inlet is 1/2 in. FIP (ID) and 3/4 in. MIP (OD), the loose key is removable with a lock-shield, and the finish is nickel plated. It is UPC listed, NSF/ANSI 372 Lead Free and ASSE 1019-A certified by IAPMO.
Measure the wall thickness before ordering, since the 8 in. length has to suit it. Frost-proof hydrants should be installed with a slight downward pitch so they can drain.
