Manufacturer Warranty Information
Products sold by The House Supplier carry the manufacturer's warranty. This page explains how manufacturer warranties generally work and how we can help if you need to make a claim.
Who provides the warranty?
The warranty is provided by the product's manufacturer, not by The House Supplier. Each manufacturer sets its own warranty terms, including what is covered, how long coverage lasts, and how claims are handled. Terms vary by brand and by product, and some warranties differ for residential and commercial use.
Where to find warranty terms
- The warranty document or installation manual included in the box
- The manufacturer's website, usually under support, warranty or product registration
- Specification sheets and manuals linked on the product page, where available
Common warranty requirements
Many manufacturers require some or all of the following. Check the specific terms for your product.
- Proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation or invoice
- Installation according to the manufacturer's instructions and local codes
- Installation by a licensed professional for certain equipment, such as water heaters and boilers
- Product registration within a set time after purchase or installation
- The model number and serial number of the unit
How to make a warranty claim
- Note the model number, serial number and a description of the problem. Photos help.
- Find your proof of purchase. Your order confirmation email from The House Supplier works for this, or we can resend it.
- Contact the manufacturer's warranty or technical support department. Most claims are reviewed by the manufacturer or its authorized service network, who decide whether a repair, replacement part or replacement unit is covered.
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for troubleshooting, inspection or returning the part.
How The House Supplier helps
- Copies of your order confirmation or invoice as proof of purchase
- Confirming model and part numbers, and helping you identify replacement parts
- Pointing you to the right manufacturer contact for warranty and technical support
- Helping you order a replacement part if it is not covered or if you need it right away
