Description
Cherne 270261 is a 6 in. end-of-pipe Gripper® plug with an aluminum T-handle, non bypass, used for DWV (drain, waste and vent) testing and stack testing.
The end-of-pipe design seals only at the end of a pipe and will not fall in. The plug is rated for 17 PSI or 40 ft. of head pressure, is made with glass-reinforced ABS plastic and has an extra-large zinc wing nut and a natural rubber O-ring. The manufacturer lists it as ideal for sewer testing and long-term applications.
Confirm the pipe size is 6 in. before ordering, and do not exceed the rated back pressure when testing.
