Description
Gruvlok GVLF-7811-400 is a 4" Gruvlok Series 7800 check valve with grooved ends.
The Series 7800 is a compact check valve with low pressure drop and non-slam performance. When open, the swing clapper is held against the valve body, out of the flow stream, and it closes quickly before flow reversal can occur, meeting FM requirements for an anti-water hammer valve rating. Each valve is hydrostatically tested to 500 PSI.
Gruvlok states that the clapper and seat design seals back pressures from 300 PSI down to as low as 1 PSI. Install the valve in the direction of flow, join it with Gruvlok couplings, and confirm the pipe size and groove dimensions before ordering.
