Tub and shower trim sets: the handle, escutcheon, spout and showerhead that mount on the finished wall over a rough-in valve.
Trim is bought separately from the valve body and only fits the valve family it was designed for. A Moen trim will not fit a Delta rough-in, and within a brand the cartridge generation matters — a trim for a current valve often will not seat on a fifteen-year-old body even though the brand matches. Identify the valve before ordering the trim.
The most common retrofit surprise is escutcheon coverage. A new trim with a smaller plate exposes the ring of unfinished tile the old one hid, which turns a trim swap into a tile repair.
Finishes stocked here are chrome, matte black, brushed nickel, stainless and oil-rubbed bronze. Oil-rubbed bronze is a living finish on some lines and changes with handling, so pieces bought years apart may not match.
Brands include Moen, Delta and Gerber.
