Pasco 959 is a 1-1/2" closet spud with a brass nut.

A spud connects the flush valve or flushometer supply to the fixture inlet, and the brass nut draws the connection tight against the fixture. It is a routine replacement when a commercial fixture leaks at the inlet or is being rebuilt.
