Charlotte Pipe ABS-00105-1200 4" ABS DWV Fitting Female Adapter (Cleanout Adapter Less Plug) - Spigot x FPT

Charlotte Pipe ABS-00105-1200 is a 4" ABS DWV fitting female adapter (cleanout adapter less plug), Spigot x FPT (Spigot = spigot (pipe-size end that fits into a hub or socket); FPT = female pipe thread).

A cleanout adapter provides a threaded opening for a cleanout plug on a drain line.

Charlotte ABS DWV fittings are made to ASTM D2661 and listed to NSF 14 for drain, waste and vent piping. They join ABS pipe with ABS solvent cement, and no primer is needed. ABS is a non-pressure drainage material: it is never used on water supply lines, and it does not solvent-weld to PVC without a transition cement approved by the local code, or a mechanical transition coupling.
