Description
Charlotte Pipe PVC-00106-1600 is a 8" PVC DWV cleanout plug, MPT (MPT = male pipe thread).
A cleanout plug closes a cleanout opening and comes out when the drain needs rodding.
Charlotte PVC DWV fittings are made to ASTM D2665 with drainage patterns to ASTM D3311, and listed to NSF 14. They are for non-pressure sanitary drain, waste and vent, sewer and storm drainage at up to 140°F, joined to Schedule 40 PVC or cellular core pipe with primer and PVC solvent cement. DWV fittings have no pressure rating and do not belong on a water supply line.
