Dearborn 1046A-1 is the 1-1/2" Double Slip Joint Trap Offset - 20 Ga., part of Dearborn's line of tubular drain products for sinks, lavatories and tubs.

A trap offset shifts the drain line sideways so a tailpiece and trap that do not line up vertically can still be connected without strain on the joints.

Match the diameter to the tailpiece and trap, and confirm the slip joint connection style. Use new slip joint washers and nuts at each end for a watertight seal. The gauge number refers to wall thickness: a 17 gauge part has a heavier wall than a 20 gauge part.
