Description
Gruvlok GVLF-7012-800-E-PNTD is an 8" Gruvlok Fig. 7012 flange adapter in a painted finish, with a grooved (GR) by flange connection and an EPDM (green) gasket.
The Fig. 7012 flange lets Class 125 or Class 150 flanged components connect directly to a grooved piping system. Its two interlocking halves are drawn together by a latch bolt, anti-rotation tines grip the pipe groove, and a specially designed gasket seals against both the pipe and the mating flange face.
Gruvlok notes that this flange needs a steel adapter insert when used against rubber-faced surfaces, wafer or lug-style valves and serrated or irregular sealing surfaces, and a phenolic insert in copper systems. Match the flange class and pipe size, and confirm the gasket grade suits the service.
