Description
SharkBite UXL0241 is a 1-1/2" SharkBite 90° elbow with push-to-connect (PTC) ends on both sides.
The manufacturer lists these push-to-connect fittings as rated to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and 200 PSI, and approved for underground and behind-the-wall applications with no access panels (wrapping is required when burying underground). They can be installed on wet or dry lines and pressure tested immediately.
When connecting to PEX pipe, the manufacturer states a stiffener is required, so check the pipe type and size before ordering. A large diameter disconnect tool is used to remove the fitting. The installation guide is linked below.
