NeutraSafe

This collection covers NeutraSafe condensate neutralizers and recharge media. It includes the CN2-220BC 2 in. clear tube neutralizer rated for 220,000 BTU/hr with media sack, PVC adapters and snap-in brackets, the CN4B-600C 4 in. neutralizer rated for 600,000 BTU/hr, the 22RCK-S 2 in. recharge kit and the 60RCK-S 4 in. recharge kit.

Condensing boilers, water heaters and furnaces produce acidic condensate that can damage drains, septic systems and cast iron piping. A neutralizer routes the condensate through media that raises its pH before it reaches the drain, and many local codes call for one.

Size the neutralizer to the appliance input in BTU/hr. If several appliances share one neutralizer, add up their inputs. The clear tube makes it easy to see when the media is spent, so you know when to recharge.

Match the recharge kit to the tube size: the 22RCK-S is the 2 in. kit and the 60RCK-S is the 4 in. kit. Check the media during routine appliance service.
