Smitty Pan Mfg. Co.

Smitty Pan water heater pans are round metal drain pans that sit under a tank water heater and catch leaks before they reach the floor. This collection has the straight-side pans from 19" to 36" in diameter, in no-hole and side-hole versions, a light duty 30" pan and the 31-WM-NH square washing machine pan. Size the pan at least 2" wider than the heater, and choose a side-hole model when it will be piped to a drain. Pans ship from Seattle, WA, with shipping calculated at checkout.

Smitty Pan Mfg. Co. makes metal drain pans that sit under water heaters and washing machines to catch leaks and overflow before they reach floors and ceilings. The House Supplier carries Smitty Pan round metal water heater pans and a square washing machine pan.

Round water heater pans come in 19", 22", 24", 26", 28", 30" and 36" diameters. Straight side "NH" models have no hole (19-NH, 22-NH, 24-NH, 26-NH and 36-NH), while the 22-S, 24-S and 26-S add a side hole. We also stock the 19-S, the 28-ST and 30-HDS with a side drain hole, the 30-LD-NH light duty pan with no hole, and the 31-WM-NH square washing machine pan with no hole.

How to choose: pick a pan at least 2" larger than the outside diameter of the water heater. Choose a side drain hole model when the pan will be piped to a drain, or a no-hole model if you plan to add a fitting on site. Always check local code for pan and drain line requirements.
