Viega 26070 is a 1-1/2" MegaPress 90 deg elbow (street), P x FTG(IPS) (P = press end for IPS steel pipe; FTG(IPS) = fitting-size end (iron pipe size), slides into another fitting).

A street elbow has one fitting-size end, so it goes straight into another fitting without a separate piece of tube, which makes the turn tighter and saves a joint.

Viega MegaPress presses directly onto black iron / carbon steel pipe, so steel lines go together without threading, welding or grooving. The EPDM version is for closed water systems such as hydronic heating and chilled water, and for compressed air. For natural gas or propane use MegaPressG.
