Connection Type	C x FPT
Size	1-1/4"
Type	Union

Mueller Streamline A 11425NL is a 1-1/4" union in cast copper alloy, C x FPT (C = sweat socket (takes the tube), FPT = female pipe thread).

A union can be taken apart without cutting the line, so equipment such as a pump, water heater or valve can be removed for service.

This is a cast copper-alloy solder-joint fitting, the construction used for shapes that are not formed from wrot tube, such as unions, drop-ear elbows and threaded adapters. It solders to copper tube the same way as a wrot fitting; on potable water lines use a lead-free solder and flux.
