Charlotte Pipe PVC-02117-1400 1-1/4" PVC SCH40 Cap - FPT

Charlotte Pipe PVC-02117-1400 is a 1-1/4" PVC Schedule 40 cap, FPT (FPT = female pipe thread).

A cap closes off the end of a line, for a future connection or to hold pressure during a test.

Charlotte Schedule 40 pressure fittings are made to ASTM D2466 and certified to NSF 61, for pressure piping where the fluid stays at or below 140°F: water service, irrigation, pools and process water. They join Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC pipe (same outside diameter) with primer and PVC solvent cement. PVC loses pressure capacity as temperature rises, so size the system to the working temperature.
