Size	1-1/4"
Type	Spade Bits

Diablo DSPD4070 is a 1-1/4" x 6" Demo Demon spade bit for nail-embedded wood.

Spade bits are a quick way to bore holes through studs, joists and top plates for supply lines, drain pipe, gas line and cable runs. This bit drills a 1-1/4" hole with an overall length of 6". The Demo Demon design is intended for wood that may contain nails, as found in remodel and demolition work.

When choosing a size, allow for the outside diameter of the pipe or tubing plus any insulation or grommet. Keep the bit square to the work and let the point start the hole before applying full pressure.
