Mueller Streamline PF 11422 1/2" Copper Press Fittings - Union PxF P x FPT

Mueller Streamline PF 11422 is a 1/2" union for copper tube, P x FPT (P = press socket, FPT = female pipe thread).

A union can be taken apart without cutting the line, so equipment such as a pump, water heater or valve can be removed for service.

Streamline PRS copper press fittings make a permanent joint with a press tool and the matching copper jaw, with no flame and no solder. They are listed to ASME B16.51 and certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 for drinking water, and are used on potable water, hydronic heating with glycol, chilled water and compressed air. The tube has to be cut square, deburred and fully inserted to the depth mark before pressing.
