Mueller Streamline PF 01147 3/4" x 1/2" Copper Press - Male Adapter P x MPT

Mueller Streamline PF 01147 is a 3/4" x 1/2" copper press male adapter for copper tube, P x MPT (P = press socket, MPT = male pipe thread).

An adapter makes the change from press to a male pipe thread, for a valve, fixture connection or threaded equipment.

Streamline PRS copper press fittings make a permanent joint with a press tool and the matching copper jaw, with no flame and no solder. They are listed to ASME B16.51 and certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 for drinking water, and are used on potable water, hydronic heating with glycol, chilled water and compressed air. The tube has to be cut square, deburred and fully inserted to the depth mark before pressing.
