Mueller Streamline A 01508NL 1/2" Copper Sweat Fittings - Drop Ear 90 Degree Female Adapter Elbow C x FPT

Mueller Streamline A 01508NL is a 1/2" drop ear 90 degree female adapter elbow in cast copper alloy, C x FPT (C = sweat socket (takes the tube), FPT = female pipe thread).

A drop-ear elbow has a mounting tab that screws to the framing, which is how a shower arm or hose bibb connection is held solid in the wall.

This is a cast copper-alloy solder-joint fitting, the construction used for shapes that are not formed from wrot tube, such as unions, drop-ear elbows and threaded adapters. It solders to copper tube the same way as a wrot fitting; on potable water lines use a lead-free solder and flux.
