Mueller Streamline CP01163G 1" Carbon Steel Press Fittings - Gas - Male Adapter P x MPT

Mueller Streamline CP01163G is a 1" male adapter in carbon steel for fuel gas, P x MPT (P = press socket, MPT = male pipe thread).

An adapter makes the change from press to a male pipe thread, for a valve, fixture connection or threaded equipment.

Streamline STL-G carbon steel press fittings are the gas version of the line: a yellow HNBR sealing element and a stainless steel grip ring, certified to ANSI/CSA LC4a for fuel gas at up to 125 psi. They press onto Schedule 10 to 40 carbon steel pipe with a press tool and carbon steel jaw, which avoids threading or welding on site.
