Pasco 2159 is a 3/4" FHT hose cap with chain.
In the listing, MHT and FHT mean male and female garden hose thread, while MIP/FIP (or FPT) mean male and female iron pipe thread. Adapters like this connect garden hoses to threaded pipe, drain valves, evaporative coolers and other equipment. Hose thread and pipe thread are not interchangeable, so confirm the thread type and size on each end before ordering. A cap closes off an unused hose connection to keep out dirt and stop drips.
