No-hub couplings like this one join plain-end cast iron pipe and fittings in drain, waste and vent systems, by clamping a sealing gasket around both pipe ends. The Husky Series is the super-duty option in the line, so check the series your job specification or local code calls for, match the 3" pipe size, and tighten the clamps to the manufacturer's torque value.
