Viega 20818 is a 3" x 1-1/2" ProPress fitting reducer, FTG(CTS) x P (FTG(CTS) = fitting-size end (copper tube size), slides into another fitting; P = press end for copper tube).

A reducer steps the line down from the larger size to the smaller one.

Viega ProPress joins copper tube with a press tool and ProPress jaw: no flame, no solder and no hot-work permit. The EPDM sealing element is factory installed, and Viega's Smart Connect design lets an unpressed fitting show itself during the pressure test. ProPress is approved for hot and cold potable water, hydronic heating with glycol, chilled water, compressed air and non-medical gases.
