Viega 20838 4"x4" - (P-MPT) - Male Adapter, ProPress®

Viega 20838 is a 4" ProPress male adapter, P x MPT (P = press end for copper tube; MPT = male pipe thread).

An adapter makes the change from press to a male pipe thread, for a valve, fixture connection or threaded equipment.

Viega ProPress joins copper tube with a press tool and ProPress jaw: no flame, no solder and no hot-work permit. The EPDM sealing element is factory installed, and Viega's Smart Connect design lets an unpressed fitting show itself during the pressure test. ProPress is approved for hot and cold potable water, hydronic heating with glycol, chilled water, compressed air and non-medical gases.
