Charlotte Pipe ABS-00812-0600 is a 4" x 3" ABS DWV spigot closet flange with metal ring, Closet x Spigot (Spigot = spigot (pipe-size end that fits into a hub or socket)).

A closet flange ties the drain to the floor and anchors the toilet with its bolts.

Charlotte ABS DWV fittings are made to ASTM D2661 and listed to NSF 14 for drain, waste and vent piping. They join ABS pipe with ABS solvent cement, and no primer is needed. ABS is a non-pressure drainage material: it is never used on water supply lines, and it does not solvent-weld to PVC without a transition cement approved by the local code, or a mechanical transition coupling.
