Butterfly valves give quarter-turn shutoff and throttling on grooved piping in mechanical rooms, chilled and hot water loops, and general service lines. The grooved ends connect directly to grooved pipe with standard couplings, so no flanges are needed. It is listed with an E grade disc and an epoxy coating.
