Description
Charlotte Pipe PVC-00107-2200 is a 8" x 6" PVC DWV flush bushing, Spigot x H (Spigot = spigot (pipe-size end that fits into a hub or socket); H = hub (socket that takes the pipe)).
A bushing threads into a larger female fitting to reduce it: male thread outside, smaller female thread inside.
Charlotte PVC DWV fittings are made to ASTM D2665 with drainage patterns to ASTM D3311, and listed to NSF 14. They are for non-pressure sanitary drain, waste and vent, sewer and storm drainage at up to 140°F, joined to Schedule 40 PVC or cellular core pipe with primer and PVC solvent cement. DWV fittings have no pressure rating and do not belong on a water supply line.
